The Day Breaks and Bends

I feel so small in the scheme of it all

Heaven’s before me but I just want to fall

The day breaks and bends but tomorrow’s sweet end

Will it turn the sunshine to rainbows and gems?

The feeling of fear and the woe of regret

The sadness that pours on the heart of regret

The storms and the bushes, the rocks in the night

Are signs of good luck, but will you take the fight?

The pain of the gain, the surrender of “I”

The stories that remained through the records of time

They’re not mine, they're not mine, it’s finally said

For the records are now being read from our head

Released and freed, let your stories be told

In the small places is where you may find your gold

How long do you want to continue your hold?

Your grip, your lash, your scorn that’s so old

Let it out, let it out! The angels are crying

Have no fear, have no fear! The old world is dying

Be patient, be patient! Everyone is trying

Come with us, come with us! Up where we’re flying
